First Dinner in Munich
Anna took us to a restaurant called “Mozart.” Apparently it’s where a lot of the locals go, having a break from traditional Bavarian food.
It was good stuff, and happy to be back in the land of MEAT and BEER, and tons of consonants to describe those items.

Unimportant Factiod: Some Whales Float, Others Don’t
When they are dead, that is. More learnings in the Deutsche Museum about whale hunting/harpooning.
Whale oil was used to make the first margarine.

Unimportant Factiod: Tempo = Kleenex
In the paper exhibit in the Deutsche Museum, I learned that the way Americans call all tissue “Kleenex” is the way Germans call it “Tempo.”

Calendar Watermark
The history of making watermarks in paper was fascinating too. This watermark is in a huge sheet of paper, with an entire calendar pressed into it.
